When I run the game, it changes display mode and then throws Access Violation (continuously).

Thanks. I've been looking for this to put on the new front page. By the way, any chance porting the game to Asphyre Casual?

I have a notebook so I can't change refresh rate it is permament 60Hz.

I've noticed a little bit of blinking objects and sometimes I have two direction arrows, one is normal and second one is reversed. It appears that in one frame there is normal arrow, on next frame is reversed, on next is normal, etc... So i couldn't capture both of them in a single screenshot, but there is a reversed arrow:

Quite good piece of work!

This i really don't know why, since it have already test with some machine and work fine.Even take look at the source code but couldn't figire out what's wrong.
Maybe it only happen in some notebook machine?

As as said earlier, the game has thrown access violation on my machine. On the second machine I've tried, the problem is exactly as Huerefar described (double arrow blinking, etc.).

By the way, both machines have 19'' TFT screens and refresh rate is limited to 60 Hz.

I can reproduce the problem on an LCD monitor with a 75HZ refresh rate. The refresh rate isn't the problem. Never is. But, there could certainly be something wrong in the code--it appears linked to the +X -Y range in the coordinate space. Try flying north west to see if it vanishes. It works for me.

Collision, player accelleration, and the constant state of exploding from impacting asteroids and ships are all very annoying. Some ships you can get within a few pixels of their insides, and yet others you hit when twenty pixels away. Players accellerate when dead, accellerate slowly, and completely defy physics with instant turning speeds. Why do enemy projectiles damage the ship's shields, but hitting things doesn't? And why don't the shields provide some protection?

Overall it's pretty interesting and well done, however.
